Privacy Policy

The Juice Plus+ Company

At The Juice Plus+ Company ("Juice Plus+," "we," "us," or "our"), we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") explains the types of information we collect, how we use and protect that information, and your rights in connection with it. It applies to everyone who interacts with us - including Independent Partners, Ambassadors, Customers (as defined in our Policies & Procedures) and website visitors. Not every section of this Policy will apply to every person; your rights and obligations depend on how you engage with us.

We encourage you to review this Policy periodically, as we may update it from time to time to reflect changes in law, technology, or our business practices. Your continued use of our website following any such update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy. This Policy is intended for United States residents and is governed by applicable U.S. federal and state privacy laws. Juice Plus+ operates in more than 20 countries.

If you are located outside the United States or are accessing our services in connection with operations in another country, your Personal Data may be subject to the privacy laws of that jurisdiction, and a separate privacy policy or notice may apply. For privacy information relevant to your country or region, please visit the privacy policy on our website for your country or region or contact our global Privacy team at [email protected]. Where Personal Data is transferred from outside the United States to our U.S.-based systems - including where service providers located in the U.S. process data on our behalf - we take appropriate steps to ensure that such transfers are made in accordance with applicable law, including the use of appropriate contractual safeguards or other recognized transfer mechanisms where required.

1.   About The Juice Plus+ Company

The Juice Plus+ Company, along with its affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively referred to throughout this Policy as "Juice Plus+," "we," "us," or "our"), is a leading health and wellness organization engaged in the marketing and distribution of nutritional products throughout the United States and more than 20 other countries. We reach our Independent Partners and Customers through:

  • Our official websites and digital platforms;
  • Juice Plus+ branded apps and digital tools; and
  • A nationwide network of Independent Partners, Ambassadors, and Customers.

This Policy covers all interactions across each of these channels.

2.   Information We Collect

We collect "Personal Data" from you based on the nature of your relationship with us. For purposes of this Policy, "Personal Data" means any information that can directly or indirectly identify a living individual. This includes what may be referred to under applicable law as "personally identifiable information," "personal information," or similar terms.

Personal Data does not include information available from government records or information excluded by applicable law. It also does not include data that has been deidentified, pseudonymized, anonymized, or aggregated in a manner that cannot reasonably be used to re-identify a specific person - provided that any information necessary to reverse the process is stored separately and is adequately secured. We refer to this category collectively as "De-Identified Personal Data."

2.1   Categories of Personal Data We Collect

Depending on how you use our services, we may collect the following types of Personal Data:

  • Commercial and Transactional Records: Products or services purchased, order history, and donation history.
  • Demographic Information: Date of birth and country of residence.
  • Identifiers: Full name, username, email address, mailing address, unique account or Juice Plus+ identification number, phone number, and mobile advertising identifiers.
  • Inferences and Profile Data: Information derived from the categories above to develop a profile of your preferences, interests, behaviors, attitudes, or aptitudes.
  • Online and Network Activity: Device type and manufacturer, device ID or UDID, IP address, operating system, browser type and version, language settings, screen resolution, pages viewed, session duration, and search history on our website.
  • Professional Information: Business email addresses provided in a professional capacity.
  • Protected Classification Characteristics: Age and sex, to the extent collected under applicable California or federal law.

2.2   Behavioral and Activity Tracking

We may use automated technologies to observe and record your online activities over time, both on our website and across third-party websites or digital services. This may include associating information collected through tracking technologies with other Personal Data we hold about you.

2.3   Keystroke and Cursor Activity

We or our service providers may record keystroke activity, mouse clicks, and cursor movements while you navigate our website. At the time of collection, this data is anonymous and is not associated with your identity unless and until you submit your email address or other identifying information (for example, by signing up through an on-screen prompt). Once you do, we may be able to link prior anonymous activity to you.

This information is used solely to improve website usability - for example, to refine navigation, enhance readability, and personalize your experience. Automatically collected data may constitute or be linked to Personal Data and may be retained or combined with information received from third parties for the purposes described in this Policy.

2.4 Sensitive Personal Data

Certain categories of Personal Data are considered 'sensitive' under applicable state privacy laws and are subject to heightened protections. Juice Plus+ does not intentionally collect sensitive Personal Data except where necessary for a specific, disclosed purpose. Sensitive categories that we may collect in limited circumstances include:

  • Health or medical information, where voluntarily shared in connection with our products, wellness tools, or AI interactions (see Section 14);
  • Financial account information, where provided in connection with payment processing or Independent Partner earnings;
  • Government-issued identifiers, such as Social Security Number or Tax ID Number, where required for tax reporting (e.g. IRS Form W-9 or 1099 processing); and
  • Precise geolocation data, if enabled through our apps or digital tools.

We do not collect racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, union membership, genetic data, or biometric identifiers in the ordinary course of our business.

  • Where we collect sensitive Personal Data, we use it only for the purpose for which it was provided, apply appropriate security controls, and limit access to authorized personnel.
  • Where a state privacy law requires your consent before we collect or process sensitive Personal Data, we obtain the consent at or before the point of collection. You also have the right to direct us to limit our use and disclosure of you sensitive Personal Data to those uses reasonably necessary to provide the products and services you have requested, and to withdraw any consent your previously provided. To exercise either right, you may contact us using any of the methods described in Section 11.1.

3.   Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use a variety of automated technologies to collect usage information when you visit our website. These may include cookies, local storage cookies, web beacons, tracking pixels, GIF files, IP address logging, software development kits (SDKs), and similar technologies. These tools help us understand user behavior, support security and fraud prevention, identify frequently visited pages, and evaluate the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns.

The specific types of cookies and tracking technologies we may deploy include:

  • Essential Cookies - necessary for core website functionality;
  • Communication Cookies - supporting contact and messaging features;
  • Performance Cookies - measuring how users interact with our website;
  • Third-Party Pixels and Web Beacons - placed by advertising and analytics partners;
  • Software Development Kits (SDKs) - embedded tools from third-party platforms; and
  • IP Address Tracking - used for fraud prevention and geographic analytics.

3.1   Tracking Pixels and Web Beacons

Our website may include tracking pixels and web beacons provided by third-party companies, including Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook), X (formerly Twitter), Google, and others. These technologies allow us to measure the impact of advertisements and gather statistical data about website usage.

We do not have access to individual user identities through these pixels; the data is anonymous on our end. However, the pixel providers themselves may collect, store, and use this data in accordance with their own privacy policies, and may associate it with your account on their respective platforms. A cookie may also be placed on your device for these purposes. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of each third-party provider to understand how they handle your data.

3.2   Google Tools

We may utilize one or more tools provided by Google, including:

  • Google Analytics
  • Google AdSense Advertising
  • Google DoubleClick for Publishers
  • Google Maps / Google Earth
  • Google Tag Manager
  • Google reCAPTCHA

You may adjust Google's advertising preferences through the Google Ad Settings page, or opt out via the Network Advertising Initiative Opt Out page or the Google Analytics Opt Out Browser Add-On.

3.3   Social Media Plug-Ins

Our website may include social media plug-ins from platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, X (formerly Twitter), and others. These plug-ins may enable those platforms to collect information about your visit — including your IP address and the specific pages you accessed — even if you do not interact with the plug-in directly.

If you choose to connect your social media account with our website (for example, to register or log in), we may receive access to certain profile information consistent with your privacy settings on that platform, such as your name, email address, profile photo, interests, and connections. Each plug-in operates under the respective platform's own privacy policy, not ours.

3.4   User-Submitted Content

You may choose to post or submit content - such as reviews, testimonials, or comments - to public areas of our website or to our social media pages ("Content"). Any Content you publish is shared at your own risk, and we cannot control how other users may view or use it.

By submitting Content, you grant Juice Plus+ and its licensees, successors, and assigns a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, distribute, translate, modify, adapt, and create derivative works from your Content for any lawful purpose and in any medium now known or later developed. This license extends to Content posted on our social media pages or on third-party platforms such as Google, Yelp, or Instagram.

3.5   Do Not Track

Some web browsers support "Do Not Track" signals, which allow you to browse anonymously. We honor Do Not Track requests where feasible; however, enabling this feature may limit certain website functionality. We also recognize Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals transmitted by your browser or device as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your Personal Data for purposes of targeted advertising, consistent with our obligations under the California Privacy Rights Act. If your browser or device transmits a GPC signal when you visit our website, we will treat it as a valid opt-out request for the session and will apply it to your account if you are logged in.

To enable GPC, consult your browser's privacy settings or install a compatible browser extension. For more information about GPC, visit globalprivacycontrol.org.

4.   Why We Collect Personal Data

We collect Personal Data for the following purposes:

  • Contractual Performance: To fulfill our agreements with you - including account creation, subscription set-up, and Independent Partner and Ambassador Agreements - and to process orders, deliver products, administer warranties, calculate earnings for Independent Partners and Ambassadors, and maintain genealogy records.
  • Business Operations: To operate and improve our services, protect the integrity of our systems, enforce our Policies & Procedures, and provide requested information about our products and services.
  • Legal Compliance: To meet tax, accounting, regulatory, and legal obligations, and to respond to requests from governmental or public authorities.
  • With your Consent: To send marketing communications, offer personalized experiences, deploy cookies, and involve you in promotional campaigns or events. You may withdraw consent at any time, though doing so may limit your access to certain features.

You may have the right under applicable law to object to certain processing activities. However, doing so may restrict your ability to fully use our website or services.

5.   How We Use Your Personal Data

Where you have provided Personal Data to us, we may use it for one or more of the following purposes:

  • Administer discounts, loyalty programs, contests, sweepstakes, promotions, rebates, and awards, and coordinate with relevant manufacturers, or retailers;
  • Present our website and notify you of updates, changes, or relevant information;
  • Process account applications, changes, or renewals, and send associated notices;
  • Process purchases, payments, refunds, and reimbursements;
  • Conduct internal analytics, trend analysis, demographic research, and security or diagnostic functions;
  • De-identify, aggregate, or anonymize data for research and reporting;
  • Deliver electronic publications to subscribers;
  • Deliver the products, services, and content you have requested and enhance your overall experience on our website;
  • Develop, train, and refine artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning models to improve the relevance and quality of our products and services;
  • Enable interactive and community features on our website;
  • Fulfill product orders, including shipping and payment processing;
  • Operate, analyze, maintain, and improve our text messaging marketing program (the "Messaging Service") and personalize your experience within it;
  • Perform administrative functions, including audits, identity verification, and system operations;
  • Request ratings, reviews, and participation in surveys, polls, focus groups, product trials, or other research initiatives that help us develop and improve our offerings;
  • Respond to your inquiries and provide customer service and technical support;
  • Send newsletters, product announcements, company updates, and promotional offers by email or other channels;
  • Share relevant information with our licensees, subsidiaries, and affiliated family of companies;
  • Comply with applicable laws, court orders, subpoenas, regulatory requirements, or professional ethics obligations; and
  • Any other purposes disclosed at the time of collection and for which your consent is obtained.

6.   Sharing Your Information with Third Parties

Juice Plus+ engages trusted third-party service providers to assist in operating our website and delivering services to you. These providers may support functions such as website development, order fulfillment, shipping and logistics, accounting and administration, and customer service. While these providers may have access to your Personal Data in the course of their work, they are contractually required to use it only for the specific purpose for which it was shared and may not use it for their own independent purposes.

We note that some service providers may be located or operate in jurisdictions that offer different levels of privacy protection than the United States. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.

If you place an order through an Independent Partner, we will share relevant information with the associated Sponsor or upline Partner to facilitate order processing and business management. Sponsors receive organizational reports that may include Personal Data such as name, address, Juice Plus+ Independent Partner, or customers ID, contact information, and sales statistics.

We may also disclose your Personal Data:

  • In response to lawful requests from public authorities, including national security or law enforcement;
  • In connection with litigation, subpoenas, investigations, or similar legal proceedings;
  • To address matters of personal or public safety;
  • To investigate or respond to security incidents; and
  • To protect the rights, interests, and property of Juice Plus+.

6.1   Business Transfers

If Juice Plus+ undergoes a merger, acquisition, restructuring, dissolution, or sale of some or all of its assets, your Personal Data may be among the assets transferred to the acquiring or successor entity. By using our services, you consent to such transfers. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any acquiring entity, except as required by applicable law.

6.2   Independent Partner Earnings and Financial Records

As part of administering our Independent Partner and Ambassador program, we collect and process financial information related to your business activity with Juice Plus+. This includes commission and bonus records, sales volume and genealogy data, earnings statements, and tax documentation such as IRS Form 1099 filings.

We share earnings-related data only as necessary to administer your account and meet our legal obligations, including with your Sponsor or upline Partners (limited to organizational and sales performance data necessary for business management) our payroll processors, financial institutions, and tax administrators (acting as our authorized service providers), federal and state tax authorities (as required by law) and you, upon request, through your back office or by contacting us as described in Section 15.

We retain earnings and tax records for a minimum of 7 years following the close of the relevant tax year, or longer where required by applicable law or regulatory guidance. If your Independent Partner agreement is terminated, your earnings data will continue to be retained for this period but access by your former Sponsor or upline will cease.

You may request a copy of your earnings history or commission records at any time by contacting us using the information in Section 15.

7.   How We Protect Your Information

Juice Plus+ employs administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your Personal Data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. We regularly review our security practices and implement appropriate controls to maintain the accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of your data.

However, no method of transmitting or storing data over the internet is completely secure. While we strive to use commercially reasonable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach affecting your Personal Data, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

8.   How Long We Retain Your Data

We retain Personal Data for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as otherwise required or permitted by law. The specific retention period depends on the nature of the data and the purpose for which it is used. In general, we retain your Personal Data for as long as:

  • Your account remains active or you continue as a registered Independent Partner, Customer, Ambassador, subscriber, or user;
  • We have a legitimate business need, such as financial recordkeeping, tax compliance, or legal obligations; or
  • Required by our records retention policies, including periods needed for internal reporting, dispute resolution, or feedback.

Usage Data (i.e., data generated automatically by your use of our services) is generally retained for shorter periods, unless it is used to improve security, enhance service functionality, or we are legally obligated to retain it longer.

You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us. Following such a request, we may retain certain data for longer periods where required by law, necessary to protect our legal interests, or for specific operational purposes such as:

  • Maintaining our contractual relationship with you;
  • Preventing fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access;
  • Fulfilling financial recordkeeping and tax obligations;
  • Complying with applicable laws, regulations, and governmental requests; and
  • Preserving records of direct communications with us, including customer support interactions.

Please be aware that deletion by our service providers may not be immediate, and residual copies may temporarily remain in backup systems. De-Identified Personal Data may be retained indefinitely.

9.   Children's Privacy

Our website is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children. Juice Plus+ does not knowingly collect, use, or disclose Personal Data from individuals under the age of 18. If you believe we may have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us immediately and we will take prompt and reasonable steps to remove such information from our records.

10.   Third-Party Links

Our website may contain hyperlinks to websites owned and operated by third parties. We do not control the content, data practices, or privacy policies of those sites, and we are not responsible for their actions. Any information you provide on a third-party site is subject to that site's own privacy policy. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit before sharing personal information. The presence of a third-party link on our website does not constitute an endorsement of that site or its content.

11.   Your Privacy Rights Under U.S. State Laws

  • Residents of certain U.S. states — including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey , Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia— may have specific legal rights with respect to their Personal Data under applicable state privacy laws. These rights may include:
  • Right to Know and Access: You may request information about the categories of Personal Data we collect, our purposes for collecting it, with whom we share it, and, in some states, the specific Personal Data we hold about you. Much of this information is already disclosed in this Policy.
  • Right to Data Portability: Upon request, we will provide a copy of your Personal Data in a readily accessible, portable format.
  • Right to Deletion: You may request that we delete the Personal Data we have collected about you. Upon receiving a verifiable deletion request, we will delete your data from our records and direct our service providers to do the same, unless we are required or permitted by law to retain it. Juice Plus+ may fulfill a deletion request either by permanently deleting data or by de-identifying it with appropriate technical safeguards. We may be unable to fulfill a deletion request if retaining the data is necessary to provide services, maintain a business relationship, comply with legal obligations, or prevent fraud.
  • Right to Correction: You may request that we correct inaccurate Personal Data we hold about you.
  • Right to Opt Out of Targeted Advertising, Sale, or Automated Decision-Making or Profiling: You may opt out of the use of your Personal Data for targeted advertising, sale to third parties, or automated decision-making or profiling that results in decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: You have the right to exercise your privacy rights without experiencing discrimination from us. We will not deny you services, charge you different prices, or provide reduced quality services simply because you exercised a privacy right. However, if you limit our ability to use certain data, some features of our services may be unavailable to you as a result.

We have not sold Personal Data for monetary consideration. However, our use of cookies and other tracking technologies may constitute a "sale" or "sharing" of Personal Data under the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). In that case, the categories involved may include identifiers such as IP addresses and internet/network activity data, shared with analytics providers and advertising and marketing partners.

You have the right to opt out of this sale or sharing of your Personal Data. To exercise it, you may use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link located in the footer of our website, submit a request through the methods described in Section 11.1 or enable a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as described in this Policy. We treat a valid opt-out preference signal as a request to opt out for the browser or device from which it is sent.

12.   Text Messaging Services

With your consent, Juice Plus+ may communicate with you via Short Message Service (SMS) text messages.

These messages are necessary to administer your account and any Independent Partner business and are not promotional or marketing in nature. Message frequency will vary. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.

To opt out at any time, reply STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to any message. Reply HELP for help. Once we receive your opt-out, we will stop sending these messages; note that opting out of transactional/service messages may affect our ability to notify you about issues with your account or commission payments. Consent to receive marketing messages is never required as a condition of purchase or of becoming an Independent Partner, and you may withdraw it at any time without affecting your account or Independent Partner status. Message frequency will vary. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.

To opt out at any time, reply STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to any message. Reply HELP for help. Once we receive your opt-out, we will stop sending marketing messages. 13.   Artificial Intelligence Tools, Surveys, and Interactive Chat

Juice Plus+ may offer or make available AI-powered tools, chatbots, virtual assistants, and AI-assisted agents (collectively, "AI Tools") to support member services, product guidance, wellness coaching, customer support, and business operations. This section describes how we collect, use, and store information gathered through these AI interactions, as well as your participation in surveys, Q&A sessions, and similar engagement activities.

13.1   AI Tool Interactions

When you engage with an AI Tool - whether through a chat interface, voice assistant, automated Q&A, or interactive survey - we may collect and process the content of those interactions. This includes:

  • The questions you ask and the responses provided;
  • Product or wellness preferences you share;
  • Feedback and opinions you submit during AI-assisted interactions;
  • Any Personal Data you voluntarily disclose during the session; and
  • Metadata associated with the interaction, such as time, duration, and device information.

13.2   Purpose of AI Data Collection

We use information gathered through AI Tool interactions for the following purposes:

  • To respond to your questions, requests, or concerns in real time;
  • To personalize product and service recommendations;
  • To improve the accuracy, performance, and safety of our AI Tools;
  • To train and refine AI and machine learning models used in our products and services;
  • To conduct quality assurance and compliance monitoring of AI-generated responses;
  • To detect and prevent misuse, abuse, or fraudulent activity; and
  • To fulfill any other purpose disclosed at the time of the interaction.

13.3   Storage and Retention of AI Chat Data

Chat transcripts and records generated through AI Tool interactions may be stored on secure servers operated by Juice Plus+ or its authorized service providers. We retain AI interaction data in accordance with the following practices:

  • Active Retention: Chat session logs may be retained for a period of up to 24 months following the date of interaction, or for as long as your account remains active, whichever is longer.
  • Extended Retention: We may retain AI interaction records for longer periods where required by applicable law, for legal defense purposes, to resolve disputes, to enforce agreements, or to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • De-Identified Data: We may de-identify or aggregate AI interaction data and retain it indefinitely for research, product development, and service improvement purposes.

AI Tool interactions that include sensitive Personal Data - such as health conditions, financial information, or other special category data; are subject to heightened security protections and access controls. Juice Plus+ does not intentionally design AI Tools to solicit sensitive categories of Personal Data, and we encourage you to avoid sharing such information unless expressly requested for a specific, disclosed purpose.

13.4   Human Review and Quality Oversight

To maintain the accuracy, safety, and compliance of our AI Tools, authorized Juice Plus+ personnel or contracted reviewers may access AI chat logs and interaction records for quality assurance, training, and compliance review purposes. Such access is governed by internal access controls and confidentiality obligations. Juice Plus+ does not sell AI-generated chat transcripts to third parties.

13.5   Surveys, Q&A, and Feedback Sessions

From time to time, Juice Plus+ may invite you to participate in surveys, Q&A sessions, polls, focus groups, or other feedback initiatives conducted through AI-assisted or human-facilitated platforms. Participation in these activities is voluntary. If you choose to participate:

  • Your responses may be stored and used to improve our products, services, and business practices;
  • Responses may be shared in de-identified or aggregated form for research and reporting;
  • If you are entered into a drawing, prize promotion, or reward program in connection with a survey, we will collect and use any information necessary to administer that program; and
  • You will be informed at the outset of a survey whether your responses will be attributed to you personally or collected anonymously.

13.6   Third-Party AI Platforms

Some AI Tools made available through our website or apps may be powered by third-party AI providers. When you interact with a third-party AI platform embedded within our services, that provider's terms and privacy policy may also apply. We will identify the use of third-party AI platforms where practicable and provide links to relevant third-party privacy disclosures.

You may opt out of AI Tool interactions at any time by choosing to communicate with a human representative. To request human assistance or to limit our use of your AI interaction data, please contact us using the information in Section 15.

14.   Health and Wellness Information

As a health and nutrition company, Juice Plus+ recognizes that some of the information you share with us - or that we collect through our products, apps, and AI Tools - may relate to your health, dietary needs, wellness goals, or physical characteristics. We treat this information with heightened care.

14.1  What health-related data we may collect

Depending on how you engage with our products and services, we may collect:

  • Health goals and wellness preferences you voluntarily share (e.g., weight management, energy levels, nutritional targets);
  • Dietary restrictions, food sensitivities, or supplement usage you disclose when seeking product guidance;
  • Information shared during interactions with our AI-powered wellness tools or coaches; and
  • Physical characteristics (such as age, sex, or body measurements) where provided in connection with a product or program.

We do not collect clinical health records, medical diagnoses, or insurance information, and our products and services are not intended to constitute medical advice.

14.2  How we use health-related information

We use health-related data solely to:

  • Personalise product and wellness recommendations;
  • Improve the performance and accuracy of our AI wellness tools;
  • Conduct internal research and product development in de-identified or aggregated form; and
  • Fulfill the specific purpose for which you shared the information.

We do not sell health-related Personal Data. We do not use it for advertising targeting unrelated to the specific product or wellness program you are engaged with.

14.3  Your rights regarding health data

Residents of Washington, Nevada, Texas, and certain other states may have additional rights with respect to health data under applicable state law, including the right to access, delete, or withdraw consent to the processing of their health information. To exercise these rights, please contact us using the methods described in Section 11.1.

You may opt out of health-related data collection through our AI Tools at any time by choosing to communicate with a human representative, or by contacting us directly (details in section 15).
